School Partnerships
Cultivating Regenerative Learning Ecologies:
Is your school ready to deepen your learning through transformative outdoor nature based education or advance its Climate Action Plan or ?
Mycelium Cooperative partners with K-12 schools to cultivate Regenerative Learning Ecologies—educational approaches that integrate outdoor nature-based pedagogy with academic excellence. We support teachers and leadership in developing new systems alongside existing structures, building confidence in outdoor safety and sustainable practices that foster ecological citizenship while meeting academic standards.
Through mentoring, coaching, and collaborative curriculum design, we help schools create learning environments where students and educators develop meaningful relationships with place, deepen their understanding of climate resilience, and practice regenerative thinking in action.
Each partnership is customized to your school’s Climate Action goals, outdoor spaces, community context, and teacher readiness.
Our approach emphasizes:
Both/and thinking: Honoring academic rigor AND ecological connection -
Justice-oriented practice: Centering accessibility, inclusion, and equity -
Community-centered learning: Building relationships with place and people -
Regenerative pedagogy: Moving beyond sustainability to restoration and reciprocity
