We give back more than we take
We trust & believe in the capabilities of all children. All of our learning develops from trust-based relationships, interconnectedness, and a felt sense of belonging.
Children will spend time in a mixed-age group (3-6 year olds for ONB preschool, 6-11 y.o. for Wild and Free HSE, and 11-14 y.o. for La Luz Middle School). All programs maintain a ratio of 1:6 teacher to student. Group sizes for younger ages are 12-16 and older ages are 18-26.
Our programs are all-outdoors with seasonal learning focused on regenrative ecology skills and activities that develop "below the iceberg skills", such as social-emotional regulation, communication, and developmentally appropriate skill building. We also play in mud, build stick dens, climb trees & harvest plants!

Seasons of Learning
3 month sessions
Location
We operate on Public Lands & have wonderful community partnerships! We have emergency shelter indoor protocols for extreme weather.
We offer Summer Fall Winter and Spring Camps and Classes in SW Aurora and SE Denver within the Cherry Creek Watershed. We have instruction on Regenerative Ecology and Pantheism so our seasonal classes move and migrate as all animals do, depending on the season, day and current conditions.
Each class and operation area are chosen in collaboration with families and local parks and recreation or open space agencies to assure regenerative (giving back more than we take) stewardship of the land.
Here is a map of some of the places that we operate in: Cook Park, Wabash Trailhead, Bible Park, Hentzel Park, Expo Park, Jewell Wetlands Park, Highlands Hollows Park, Great Plains Park, Plains Conservation Center, and Mission Viejo Park. Contact us for details specific to each season.
